Abstract |
Today time tank are widely used for storing liquid like water chemical and petroleum etc. One of the best key water supply planning. Overhead tank are large quantity water store and most convenience used for rural areas. Overhead tank design of liquids retaining structures is based upon the fact that the concrete should not crack and hence the tensile strength of concrete should be within permissible limits. Every tank are designed as crack controlling structures to dislodge any leakage. Project gives in brief, the theory behind the design of liquid retaining structure (Elevated circular water tank) using LIMIT STRESS METHOD. Elements are design in limit state method. Join and reinforcement are listed in IS 3370: 2009. Our project overhead tank completed surajkund [GORAKHPUR]. |
