Abstract |

The proliferation of industries has resulted in the need for an explosion of natural resources. The slate pencil industry is one of the fastest growing industries producing large quantities of slate powder. Waste disposal is a serious environmental hazard and has the potential to have a detrimental effect on plants and animals and species. The paper is about using this slate powder to make certain useful products. The aim of this project is to convert slide waste into tile and stone to increase the value of the economy through waste, while at the same time reducing the burden of pollution created by these industrial production materials. |
