Abstract |
|
Multilevel inverter are now-a-days widely used in industries because of numerous advantage they provide such as less energy consumption, better efficiency, good quality, less maintenance requirement etc. But as we move towards higher level to generate AC output the component count of the inverter increases tremendously. This limitation has attracted researcher to evolve new topologies of MLI with reduced component count. This paper presents an overview of such topologies and its comparison with the conventional topologies. The challenges which has been faced while reducing component count is also presented in the paper. |
