In this paper the wear behaviour of AA8011-5% ash composite fabricated via stir casting technique. The test samples are prepared and recognized as per ASTM- G99. The wear tested by pin-on-disc equipments with several input parameters of the wear rate. Wear rate rises with the rise of normal load. It is attributed to excessive damage of the composite. Wear rate increases dependably with interval due to deduction of the majority of material when exposed to sliding force. |
