In Tunisia, agriculture is important in economic growth. It is a key sector in economic, social and territorial planning. Family farms are the most common form of agriculture in the world, in both developed and developing countries. From Zaghouan Governorate, Bir Mcherga region is marked by the dominance of family farming. It is a mainly rural area where agriculture remains a key sector. Family farms play a central role in maintaining and creating jobs, and limits rural depopulation (Ounalli N and al, 2020). In fact, small family farms represent 65% of all farms in Bir Mcherga region (CRDA Zaghouan, 2018). This paper aims to analyze the functioning of the different types of family farms in Bir Mcherga delegation. |
