Abstract |
|
The Process of Encryption and Decryption is performed by using the substitution method of key cryptography for Secure Communication between two entities. In this paper, we studied how the process of Encryption and Decryption is performed in the case of monoalphabetic substitution using the simple substitution method. For that we used hill climb approach and Jacobsen’s algorithm which allows for the faster decoding of the substitution cipher, according to Jacobsen’s we have the frequency of digrams and trigrams occurring in an English sentence and then the way we decrypt the cipher is we analyze the encrypted text and find the frequency of each letter and frequency of the diagrams and according to the table we replace the letters and this goes on till we a get a meaningful sentence from the above method. |
