Abstract

The increasing level of carbon monoxide has become a serious environmental issue from recent years. This issue is also being noticed globally. The various NGOS also trying to create awareness about the same issue. Worldwide organizations are coming together and discussing about controlling of this harmful things. Therefore monitoring of carbon monoxide content is one of the approaches to identify the level of carbon monoxide. As we know carbon monoxide is basic cause for pollution, so it is becoming prime issue to measure and monitor the level of carbon monoxide within the environment. In this way we can atleast control the level of pollution at certain level. This paper explains the importance of monitoring level of carbon monoxide, how it can be done using arduino and matlab. This paper also discusses the different methods that has been used earlier for monitoring and controlling of carbon monoxide level.
