A design engineer has to boost improve existing manufacturing technique by implanting new ideas like Special Purpose Machine (SPM). The company’s deciding is based on the motives of improving existing manufacturing processes to finish in to major advantages like, reduced manufacturing measure, fool profiling methods of processing and consists results on a protracted run. Milling could be a process of cutting metal on a surface of work piece employing a rotating multipoint cutter. To compress manufacturing quantity efforts are significantly taken right at the stage of the merchandise design and process design. Milling is one of the basic operations in machining and hence its most important machine. It generates a surface by rotating fringe of multipoint cutter stated as Cutter on to the work piece clamped on its table. Retrofitting is that the addition of latest technology or features to older systems this definition gives an the majority information about the word retrofitting. once we say that retrofitting associated with some components that mean we try and upgrade that component and improve their efficiency through a present technology. From the above research work it is clear that newly developed retrofit conventional milling machine is technically and economically justified and proven its effectiveness over existing HMC manufacturing process. |
