Abstract |
Object motion detection and tracking has emerged as one of the most important study areas in image processing and computer vision. This has a variety of uses in surveillance video, including indoor and outdoor security, traffic control, safe railroad crossing, behaviour identification during spot activities, and video compression. This paper pro- poses a basic yet reliable moving object identification and segmentation technique. For moving object recognition and segmentation, a differencing and summing approach (DST) was applied. When compared to typical object identification and segmentation approaches, this method is straightforward and computationally simple. The results of the experiments reveal that the proposed strategy is effective at recognizing and segmenting moving items in both an indoor and an outdoor setting with a static background. |
