Abstract |
Docker is a free and open application development and execution platform. Docker separates your applications from your infrastructure, allowing you to swiftly release software. You can manage your infrastructure in the same way that you control your applications using Docker. You may drastically minimise the time between writing code and executing it in production by utilising Docker's approaches for shipping, testing, and deploying code quickly. Docker is one of the most widely used containerization systems. Research looked into many parts of the Docker ecosystem, but it mostly focused on Dockerfiles from GitHub, which limited the types of questions that could be addressed and did not look into evolution. In this study, we aggregate data from Docker Hub, GitHub, and Bitbucket to construct a more recent and complete data set. |
