-Minal Khopade ; Prof. Umesh Talware; Prashant Nimbalkar; Shrihari Kale; Amit Baraskar
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific area, on a restricted set of monitors. This technology is being used for supervision in areas such as banks, airports, hospitals, and shopping malls etc. The installation of the CCTV helps to avoid crime and may assist in the solution of cases, influenced by the need for increased security. Smart video surveillance systems are proficient of enhancing situational awareness up to great amount. In planned system we have stated, Smart CCTV technology, which reviews the circumstances and alert the administrator directly and respond immediately. This project makes use of OpenCV library to capture camera images and detect intrusion using image comparison technique (block based background subtraction method). In this technique, a captured image has been divided into the standard sized blocks and then, only the required block of the earlier frame image is restructured in real-time. Once the comparison is completed and an interruption is found, it sends the video from server to distant administrator over android phone. Administrator can then take suitable action and feasible safety measures. We have designed the detect ability for a moving object region by rapidly creating a background image even if it is difficult to click a background image or we do not have the template image prepared in advance. It is also superior for observation of many places at the same time with only a single CCTV system since it is particularly suitable for sudden scene changes. Read More...

An Enhanced Information Authentication by Multimodal Biometrics Security
-C.Girija ; R.Revathi; S.Saranya; S.Sivachandiran
In the present world, we all know that Biometric security is concerned with the assurance of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in all forms, in this work we are focusing on biometric authentication along with all security assurance. Authentication of a person is an important task in many areas of day-to-day life including electronic commerce, system security and access control. There is possibility of getting biometric template information by imposter and can change the information which leads to the leakage of information. If the authentication is not being done then there is compromise in security. The biometric authentication provides the ability to require more instances of authentication in such a quick and easy manner that users are not bothered by the additional requirements. The problem here is to authenticate using the information of the user without compromise in the security as well as the leakage of information of the individual. So, in this paper, we have proposed a multi-biometric model (integrating voice, fingerprint and facial scanning) that can be embedded in an information this making transactions more secure. Wireless Chargeable Eco-Friendly Bus
-Akshaya P. Wankhede ; Ashwini U.Chapte; Ashwini J. Lohar; Swati jagtap
Nowadays conventional buses which run on fuel results in release of the harmful gases such as CO2 which leads to increase in environment pollution ,global warming, this also affect the health of human being, along with these fuels which is used in buses is non-renewable source of energy and goes on decreasing day by day. In order to control the situation we are proposing a method in which instead of using a fuel in buses we are developing a electric bus. This bus is eco-friendly and uses renewable source of energy. Electric vehicles offer superior energy efficiency while offering an enormous Potential for reducing CO2 emissions if the electricity is supplied from a renewable or nuclear source. However, they are presently neither range- nor cost-competitive compared to conventional vehicles, due to limited options for recharging, and expensive energy storage (batteries). This system aims at extending the wireless power transfer to the charging of moving electric vehicles. As a optional part we are using a solar panel if in case bus get not fully charge through the circuitry. Along with this the BRT bus indication unit i.e. signalling system and verification system is also provided to verify the BRT bus and to indicate the status of the bus. Read More...

Customer Persistence Modelling for Insurance Firm
-Aakash Mishra ; Rohit Singh; Nitin Lulla; Suraj Bhatia; Dr. M Vijaylakshmi
Customer relationship management (CRM) is a system for managing a company’s interactions with current and future policy holders. It involves using technology to organize, automate and synchronize sales, marketing, customer service, and technical support. CRM systems track and measure marketing campaigns over multiple networks. These systems can track customer analysis by customer clicks and sales. Places where CRM is used include call centres, heavily utilized in social media, direct mail, data storage files, banks, and customer data queries. Problem statement -Within a company's customer relationship management strategy, finding the policy holders most likely to leave is a central aspect. There arises a need for a dynamic modelling approach for predicting individual policy holders’ risk of leaving an insurance company. Churn prediction is a very powerful weapon to know soon which policy holders will abandon the company, in order to increase the degree of retention, to build a solid CRM strategy and to save acquisition costs between five and fifteen times more expensive to gain new policy holders than to retain the current ones. Fuzzy Adaptive PID Speed Control of a Converter Driven DC Motor
-Ravishankar kumar ; Dhaval R Vyas; Tapan Patel
DC motors have been widely used in many industrial and commercial applications. Speed control is a common requirement in industrial drives and commercial drives in the presence of different varying operating conditions i.e. load fluctuations, parameter uncertainty etc. Conventional controllers have not been successful for real time applications because of the drift in the plant operating conditions. Adaptive techniques best suited for these situations. The controllers have been considered without modeling of final control element. In practical applications, the effect of dynamics and nonlinearity of final control elements affects the performance of the system, so it is necessary to consider these for a dependable simulation of the drive performance. The overall system becomes non-linear due to the dynamics of converter used as final control element. In this study a new approach is being used, first the transfer function of the buck converter is obtained by considering a small linear region near the operating point, then using overall transfer function of buck converter and dc motor, the PID settings obtained. Fuzzy logic is used to update these settings on-line corresponding to the changes that may occur in system operating conditions. For more close to actual performance evaluation sinusoidal PWM controlled buck converter, used as final control element has been simulated using MATLAB. Here comparative results of PID and fuzzy adaptive PID control strategies implemented, for both types of control situations i.e. tracking speed control and the strength of approach is demonstrated. An Efficient Approach to Detecting the Outliers in Forest Cover Data Streams
-Gajendra Singh Gurjar ; Sharda Chhabria
An important challenge in network management and intrusion detection is the problem of data stream classification. Concept-evolution is the open research issue in these circumstances, which involves the occurrence of a new class in the data stream. Most traditional data stream classification techniques are based on the assumption that the number of classes does not change over time. However, that is not the case in real world networks, and existing methods generally do not have the ability of identifying the evolution of a new class in the data stream. In this paper, we present an efficient approach for the detection of novel classes in data streams that exhibit concept-evolution. In particular, our approach is able to improve both accuracy and computational efficiency by eliminating “noise†clusters and false alarm rate in the analysis of concept evolution. Through an evaluation on simulated data sets, named as forest cover type, we express that our approach achieves comparable accuracy to an existing scheme from the literature with a significant decrease in computational complexity. -G.M.Dhote ; V.A.Dahate; M.A.Janbandhu; A.G.Bansod; A.S.Gawai
Air compressor, as the name indicates, is a machine to compress the air and to raise its pressure. The air compressor sucks air from the atmosphere, compresses it and then delivers the same under a high pressure to a place where the supply of compressed air is required. It is based on the energy stored in air under pressure and the heart of the system is the air compressor. To run these air compressors, a lot of electrical energy is required depending upon the output pressure of the air. The non-renewable resources to produce electricity have become limited and are near extinction, leading to high energy cost or energy crisis. In such situations, renewable sources like solar power are very helpful and the application of this technology to run air compressor is known as solar power air compressor. Read More...

This paper presents a multiple objective genetic algorithm for multi depot vehicle routing problem time window (MD-VRPTW-MOGA). MD-VRPTW-MOGA is an expansion of VRP problems. MDVRP is a NP-hard problem which is more advantageous than VRP. MD-VRPTW simultaneously determines the routes for several vehicles from multiple depots to a set of customers and then return to the same depot with in time. The objective of this problem is to find the routes for vehicles to service all the customers at a minimal cost which is in terms of number of routes and total travel distance without violating the capacity and travel time constraints of the vehicles. A Multi objective Genetic Algorithm is provided to solve the proposed problem with new constraints. Read More...

A Comparitive Analysis Multilingual Word Tagging In Transliterated Content
-Yagnesh Jani ; Sandip Modha
In this report we consider the problem of labeling the languages of words in mixed-language documents and remove disambiguity. For many languages that use non-Roman based indigenousscripts (e.g., Arabic, Greek and Indic languages) one can often find a large amount of user generated transliterated content on the Web in the Roman script. This content createsa monolingual or multi-lingual space with much script which we refer to as the Transliterated-Script space. This report describes a method to tag the word in multilingual transliterated content and remove disambiguity. The technique is based on the heuristic approach and comparing to different methods results. Therefore, it is a non-trivial task to tag the word and find disambiguity. Read More...

-Minal Anil Pawar ; S. R. Lahane; Swetha Poojary; Yugandhara Sulakshane
In Traditional Traffic Signal Control System, many times, because of heavy traffic, accidents, heavy rain or any reasons, there may be chances of blockage on roads. So, people may get late due to heavy traffic. Traffic Management is one of the most critical issues in big cities now days. In Metros, people feel inconvenient about wasting their valuable time waiting at signal. This leads to the need of developing a dynamic system which will provide a user with a facility of all safety alerts about traffic problems so that people will be awared and change their ways according to their convenience. Our application will provide a user alerts about such a problem by using VANET. VANET is an upcoming technology to efficiently handle the traffic management. The analysis on the basis of minimum time and distance required is also provided to users of the system. With the above facilities, it needs to optimize delay faced by vehicles at traffic signal with an efficient algorithm to manage traffic. Our project provides such algorithm and name of the algorithm is OAF which is divided into two parts i.e. Platooning algorithm and OJF algorithm. Read More...

In voluntary oscillatory motion in muscle causes tremor in Human. Parkinson’s Tremor (PT) is one of the most common movement disorders. Without impeding the patient’s intentional motion estimating the tremor suppression in musculoskeletal level is a major challenge. To address this issue, a wearable device is designed for limb tremor could benefit a considerable number of patients, but the technology to suffer in this way is under-developed. In this paper a robust controller that can dynamically suppress pathological tremor with Raspberry-pi board is developed. Electromyogram (EMG) signal parameters are important for assessing muscle activity and fatigue. The start/stop times for each EMG burst are identified by the hand movement. Flexibility of the PT patient’s hand is identified using FlexiForce(flexible) sensor. Then the numerical values are measured and displayed in Raspbian OS with Qt creator. Finally the Simulation results are shown using LabVIEW software. Read More...

-Tejas M Patel ; Yogesh R Prajapati; Akash N Lathiya; Nidhish G Mishra
Power quality is a measure of ideal power supply system. There are many voltage related power quality issues in the industries like impulse, voltage sag and swell, over and under voltage, flickers, harmonics, voltage interruption etc. but the harmonics is a very commonly and most affected issue in industry , So we focus on the harmonics and brief discussion about other issue. There are many nonlinear devices which are using in industries like air compressors, blowers, VFD operated motors and various air handling units which inject harmonics in to the line, which create power quality problem. Filter is used for reduce harmonics. Many types of filters are available in market like active filter, passive filter, low pass filter, high pass filter, single tuned filter, hybrid filter etc. We use hybrid filter for reduce the harmonics because it reduce the harmonics nearer to zero which is advance than any other filter. Matlab use for hybrid filter simulation and results shows how this filter reduces the harmonics. Read More...

Predictive Fuzzy Based Sliding Mode Control of an Induction Motor
-Mahalakshmi S ; T.Madhan
This paper presents a predictive fuzzy based sliding mode controller for a vector controlled induction machine (IM) fed by a three phase voltage source inverter (PWM). The proposed predictive fuzzy sliding mode control method combines features of both indirect vector control (sliding mode control) and DTC (model predictive control). The sliding mode control is a nonlinear, high speed switching, feedback control strategy for controlling the nonlinear system (IM).The model predictive control is used to precalculate the behavior of the system and choose an optimal switching input for voltage source inverter. The sliding mode parameters can be adjusted to get faster error convergence, however, this will, in turn, increase the control gain, which may produce severe chattering on the sliding surface and, therefore, deteriorate the system performance. To cope with dynamic uncertainty and external load, a fuzzy sliding mode control (FSMC) is designed by incorporating a fuzzy inference mechanism into the existing sliding mode control scheme to reduce the chattering problem. A predictive fuzzy sliding mode controller (PFSMC) has been designed and the functions are verified through MATLAB-Simulink. Read More...
